Fall Into Art: Grades K-2 A fun class for the child that loves art and being creative! Art Teacher, Kerri Burke, believes everyone’s an artist, and this class will encourage students to find their own unique artist voice through a variety of mediums; painting, clay, collage, and more. Each week students will participate in a new arts & craft project relating to Halloween, Thanksgiving and Fall!

Beading Beautiful Bracelets: Grades 3-5
Come learn how to make several different styles of beaded bracelets: magnetic stretch, magic coil and beaded safety pin cuff. Make them for yourself, or give them away. Phyllis Smith-Hansen is a retired teacher who loves to make jewelry almost as much as she loves to teach, and she is looking forward to sharing her hobby with the girls and boys of Caroline.

Caroline Coding Club (C3): Grade 2-5
If you enjoyed your introduction to coding last year and feel ready for the next level of challenge, this class is for you! Using code.org, Codecademy, Tynker, and other free coding resources, we will continue to build computer programming skills. By the end of the class, each student will be able to create and share an original game, website or app. Come code with us!

The Outsiders: Grade 5
Explore outside, learn the language of plants and animals, play games, share what you know about the wild woods. This program is all outdoors in any weather (including rain and snow). Kids MUST wear clothes that can get dirty and keep them warm outside! Bring a water bottle! (donations to Cornell Cooperative Extension and PTA accepted)

FRIDAYS: Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30 Nov. 6, 13
Theatre Basics: Grades 3-5 Do you have a dramatic side? Do you love to perform? In this class, kids will learn about being on the stage, use bodies & voices to create characters, stretching imaginations with improvisation, and script interpretation. We’ll perform a scene and choreographed dance on the last day.

Baton Twirling: Grades K-2, Learn to march and strut while performing basic baton tricks with East Ithaca Preschool Teacher and former majorette, Mrs. Foote! There will be a short performance on the last day.

Amazing Animals: Grades K-2
Get up close and personal with the Cayuga Nature Center’s Live Animal Collection! During the Amazing Animals program you will get a chance see, touch and learn about birds, reptiles, and mammals. Learn about what the animals like to eat, where they like to live, and how they manage all of that in the wild. Instructors from Cayuga Nature Center. Cost: $65
