  • Caroline PTA @ Music in the HollowThe Caroline PTA will be at Music in the Hollow on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Come see us! We will have membership forms and fall event schedules. We will also be available to answer questions about Caroline and chat about the school. Bring new neighbors with elementary school age children/ The Ellis Hollow Community Center is hosting a Pig Roast fundraiser so food will be available for sale or you can bring your own picnic.   • Ice Cream SocialWe invite the Caroline Elementary students and their families to join us for an Ice Cream Social on Friday, September 6, 2014 from 5:00pm-7:30pm. The Caroline PTA hosts an annual Fall Welcome Event to kick off the school year. It is a great time to meet other families and see the school and playground. We will also host an event on “Caroline Computers for Families and Students” this evening from 4:00-6:30pm. Come and meet with a few of our computer gurus and discover ways to connect with the Caroline School, Caroline PTA, and Ithaca City School District. Facebook, Twitter, Web, List serves sign up and purpose, and Tandem (school districts calendaring and reminder system) will be reviewed for all.   • Movie NightFall movie night
    The Caroline PTA hosts two movie nights per year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
    A good crowd showed up to enjoy “Zookeeper” on Thursday, November 11th.
    The fifth grade classes ran the concessions (pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, baked goods) to raise money for their class trip.
  • Sock HopSock HopThe annual PTA Sock Hop is the biggest family evening event of the Caroline Elementary school year. Students learn dances in their PE classes in the month before, and tickets are sold through backpack mail and at the door.Sock HopWhile the DJ and PE teacher lead dances in the gym, pizza, hot dogs, and baked treats are sold in the cafeteria, and tables fill the hallways for raffles and the silent auction.
